SubmitWe’re looking for work of quality, ingenuity, and bravado; work that perverts and disorients culture as we commonly see it. We prefer previously unpublished work, but will consider submissions published elsewhere. Simultaneous submissions are permitted, so long as you let us know ASAP if you must withdraw a piece. We accept work in basically any medium and on a wide array of topics: fiction and non, essays, narrative journalism, photography, film, the slew of visual arts, fashion, music, ad nauseum.

Include a cover letter or introduction briefly detailing the work. If you do not provide some sort of background, we will very likely not publish your work. Our staff handles all submissions through Submittable. If you do not receive a response regarding your submission within three months’ time, feel free to write to us.

Unfortunately, Perversion is unable to pay contributors at this time, but all U.S.-based submitters whose work ends up published in the printed magazine will receive a complimentary copy of that issue. If you live outside of the U.S., we will be in touch to figure something out.

The Fine Print: By submitting work to Perversion Media, you grant us permission to publish your work in Perversion Magazine and/or Online publication of your submission does not guarantee publication in Perversion Magazine. If your work is accepted for publication, Perversion Media maintains the right to reproduce your work to promote it and the Perversion Media platform in which it appears (mediums of reproduction include but are not limited to: flyers, banners, web posts, and social media posts. Purposes for reproduction include but are not limited to: previews of an artist’s work or the issue in which it appears, and magazine launch parties). Artists will be plainly and properly accredited for any reproduction detailed above. Rights of work revert to the artist upon publication, except as stated above (i.e., in promotion of the Perversion Media platform in which the work appears).
